Nothing can ruin the flow of a well-planned day like the arrival of a clogged drain. Standing in your own pool of water in your shower is just not a welcome visitor in the morning when you really just need a good shower to wake you. Here are a few tips for you to avoid clogged drains.
- You can and should run hot water through your faucet and sink following each use. By doing this simple process you are helping any spare food products and oils from getting stuck, or building up inside your pipes.
- Put a couple of tablespoons of baking soda down the drain and wash it down with hot water. This process will help make your pipes clean and smell good.
- It seems like vinegar is the solution to most household issues, and in this case, it’s true of your pipes. Pour about 1 cup of vinegar down your drain. Let it do its job, and then wash it down with extra hot water.
