- Baking soda and vinegar are useful for clearing your drain. Pour ½ cup of baking soda down your drain. Then pour ½ cup of vinegar down your drain. Let it sit for an hour while securely plugged. After an hour, pour a pot of boiling water down it until your drain is clear.
- Baking soda and salt can be mixed together (1/2 cup of each) and poured down your drain. After an hour pour a pot of boiling water down your drain.
- Use the old wire coat hanger trick. Using the hook on the hanger go “fishing” in your drain to pull up any objects in there that are obstructing your drain.
